Passivation Kit from Finishing Technology, Inc.

Finishing Technology has assembled an easy-to-use passivation kit system to enable you to mix the passivating solution in five gallon increments for economical on-site treatments.

Each kit includes two chemical components in pre-weighted waterproof packets, a MSDS for each chemical (Citric Acid and Sodium Nitrate) and mixing instructions. The passivation solution meets the requirements of ASTM-A967 and is used in pharmaceutical manufacturing. Information necessary for calculating the concentrations of each component by weight is included on the mixing instructions.
